I was wondering if there are any readers of Martinus who found they way to traditional religion via cosmic analysis. Is there anyone who became practicing Christians in the traditional sense after they have read Martinus? What is your view?

I was opposed to religious practices and rituals. Only warmed up to them thanks to Martinus explanations. Still I could never quite accept the old ways. I even found my own very non traditional way to pray.

Im now warming up to more religious practices after watching a lecture from an atheist philosopher Alain de Botton. He explains there is a lot to learn from traditional religions even if you dont believe in the doctrine.

Here is a very interesting look at didactic learning, rituals, art and the power of institutions of traditional religion.

I doubt that there is alot who got religious in the traditional sense after reading the works of Martinus. There might be some. I am not one of them.

But I think that many people who starts to read the works of Martinus sooner or later becomes religious in some way. Praying is part of Martinus' world view, so I guess some picks that up in some form. The thing that is not present is the ceremonies.

Interesting to hear your story.

All the best,
Lasse

p.s. to me it is kind of nice to write about Martinus in English. It is refreshing in some wierd way.

Yes, it can get lonely sometimes when trying to live spiritual life on your own. I went to Sunday mass in London last weekend. It was bit too long and the church was bit too cold (no heating). But praying Our Father with all the people there was quite special.

Hi Gadfly + more

After digging into the lifelaws of Martinus,
I'm kind of wearing "him" into my packpack.
I'm very interested in following the ekstra terrestials,
who are contacting our people on Gaia.
If I can connect their sayings being in line with
the life laws of M, I believe them for real.
Fortunately, I'm living in an area, where it doesn't take many miles
for me to reach some other people, also interested in Martinus' books.

Are you all alone - over there - reading his books ?

Love from Lykke :)

Hi Gadfly,

Feel free to write here on the forum. Sharing our interest in Martinus' work with others is one of the main ideas behind having martinusforum.

All the best,
Lasse

Thank you all for your warm messages.

Ive always read and studied Martinus on my own. I have friends who read Martinus too but most of them live too far to see often. Im always happy to meet people with interest in Cosmology.

The lecture from Alain de Botton made me think about spiritual practices past and present. I do practice prayer and wonder if it is always meant to be personal and solitary experience.

I know there is many study groups and lectures across Scandinavian countries. What other activities Martinus communities do when they get together?

Having martinusforum is great. It connects like minded people from all over the globe. I wonder what role will the internet have in the future of Martinus communities. I believe the internet is spiritual in nature (devoid of physical time and space) and perfect for minorities. What do you think?

Hi again.
In our little Martinus group in Odder, 25 km south from Århus, we're trying to arrange social togetherness. Some weeks ago we went to Copenhagen to visit Martinus' institut. looking at the flat(museum) where he lived his last 40(?) years, Solveig kept a lecture - meeting some of the guys from Martinus Forum - ending the day - going out - eating together in a vegetarian restaurent. Discussing and joking about - if it is Sjælland or Jutland, where the first eco - spiritual living community in the spirit of Martinus will appear :)
When possible we go together to Århus joining lecture or seminar.
A Christmas gathering participating 25 people eating/talking - vegetarian food, no alcohol - and singing together for one and a half hour both danish and english songs. Two of our guys played the guitar. I liked that evening very much and I wear it in my heart as a happy memory.
Just a few words about our acting together.
I quite agree on your last remark of the internet!
Do you know of the Martinus center(school) we have in Klint?

Sunny greetings from Lykke :)

Thanks Lykke,

What you do in Denmark is something I would definitely enjoy. Most people in London would not believe you can have fun without alcohol :)

I went to Klint few times in back 90s and enjoyed it. Planing to go again. It should be even more fun this year. There are English lectures about Eternal World Picture 5 and all the new symbols. Very exiting.

All the best,
Lasse
