More and more people today embrace a diet based on plant-based food. This is a diet that focuses primarily on products from plants, for example fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, root vegetables and beans. Current research shows that vegetarian and vegan diets protect against, for example, coronary heart diseases. With his book The Ideal Food, Martinus, as early as 1933, provided us with a spiritual insight into the importance of diet for our physical and mental health. He also expands our sphere of responsibility to include not only love for human beings but also for animals, plants, minerals and the microbeings in our body. Join us for an interview with Mary McGovern about a spiritual perspective on current research into plant-based food.
