Part 2 in an introduction series — What is a living being, exactly? Martinus Thomsen identified three minimum conditions that must be present for any living being to exist: the I (x1), the ability to create and perceive (x2), and the created itself (x3). Remove any one of them and a living being becomes impossible. This is his analysis of the living being — and he argues for it, not just asserts it.
The implications go further than you might expect. Your cells are living beings inside you. You are a living being inside something larger. Follow that logic all the way up and you reach the universe itself — one all-encompassing living being. What religions have called God, framed here not as a belief, but as the logical conclusion of the analysis.
What you’ll find in this video:
– The triune principle: x1 (the I), x2 (ability to create and perceive), x3 (the created)
– Why all three must be present — and what happens when you remove each one
– How the analysis scales from individual cells to the universe itself
