Human nutrition is evolving in a more humane direction the more loving we become. In this lecture we will look at how the Danish spiritual writer Martinus (1890–1981 ), in his book The Ideal Food, analyses the evolution of human nutrition from meat-eating to vegetarianism and veganism. We will explore the effect of our nutritional choices on our health and our fate, the principle of life within life, why vegetarian food is healthier than animal products at our stage in evolution and provide some tips for vegetarians who want to be healthy and avoid the maltreatment and killing of animals.
